Join the Movement
Become a member and commit to donating $100 four times a year. Your contribution joins 100+ others to create a massive wave of support.
Step 02
Nominate & Vote
Members nominate local charities for consideration. At our quarterly meetings, three are randomly selected to present their needs, and we vote.
Step 03
Give Directly
The charity with the most votes receives everyone's $100 donation. Checks are written directly to the charity for immediate impact.

See the Impact
Witness the tangible difference your donation makes in Victoria. We hear back from recipients on how the funds were used.

We want your experience with 100+ Women Who Care Victoria to be simple and rewarding. Here are some of the most common questions our members ask:
How do the meetings work?
We hold a social hour from 6 - 7 pm, and then the meeting starts and lasts exactly one hour. Three charities are randomly drawn and their nominating members give a 5-minute elevator pitch on why they would like us to support them. Members vote by secret ballot, and while the votes are tallied there is a presentation by the last meeting's winning charity. The charity with the most votes receives our collective donation.
How often do we meet, and what if I can't attend a meeting?
We meet quarterly—four times a year. This schedule allows us to make a significant impact without over-committing our members' valuable time. If you can't make a meeting, you are still expected to contribute your $100 quarterly donation.
What methods of payment for my donations will you accept?
Members can sign up for auto-payments through their credit card, send us an e-transfer, write a cheque, or pay with cash.
How can I join?
Joining is easy! Simply click the 'Join Today' button at the top of our page and fill out the commitment form. We look forward to welcoming you to our next meeting.
Is membership a long-term commitment?
While we hope our members stay for years, there is no long-term legal obligation. We simply ask for a commitment to the minimum of four annual donations while you are an active member.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. Because your money is going directly to a registered charity, they will issue you a tax receipt for your donation.
How do I nominate a charity?
In order to nominate a charity, you must first become a member, and then you may submit a nomination form for our review and approval. All charities in our nominations pool must be registered with CRA, and serve the local Victoria community.
